We are located in Montrose, Colorado and maintain a small quality herd of ADGA Purebred Nubian Goats. We started with just one Purebred Nubian Doe in 2004. We wanted that fresh, sweet and creamy nubian milk without Growth Hormone, Antiobiotics or other drug residues that can be found in commercial milk.
Nubians are a wonderful dairy breed of goat. They are very friendly, curious, easy to work with and great with children. Their milk contains one of the highest butterfat contents of the goat dairy breeds. Nubian milk is probably the best goat milk for "newbies to goat milk" to try, because it is very sweet and creamy. Cheese makers love Nubian milk for the high butterfat (for larger yields) and sweet taste.
We select our goats for high milk production, good udders, conformation, and temperament. We have some of the top milking and show lines in the pedigrees of our goats.
